Your mission? Extract and analyze relevant data from its location in real time, its engines and driving style, with the aim that the fleet can do a more efficient use of fuel and significantly reduce its environmental impact.

In collaboration with geotabTelefónica Tech has implemented its comprehensive fleet management solutionwhich covers both the deployment of devices with Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity and the presentation of data via the web on the analytical platform developed by Telefónica Tech itself.

The Fleet Management solution provides key data such as mileage, positioning and visualization of vehicle routes, braking, acceleration and sudden turns. In addition, it detects engine failures and the use they make of the fuel to be able to design statistics and see the possible causes of overconsumption.

The application of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence allows ‘La Vuelta’ to extract trends and detect patterns and anomalies to be corrected in the fleet in order to continue advancing in its commitment to the planet. The Spanish race has made a great effort in recent years to ensure that its vehicle fleet in 2022 is fully hybrid, with a total of 85 units. To this we must add two more 100% electric.
