Even though Teis does a lot, he notices that he can’t always join in with the other children. “I can do almost everything. Just not jump rope. I don’t like that, because then I can’t participate. That’s annoying.” Sometimes Teis thinks this is a pity, but he feels completely accepted at school. “They know me. Sometimes I see children whispering: he has a short arm, he has one hand. Then I think: never mind, because I’ve been through that so often then it doesn’t matter to me anymore.”
