Teijonsalo and Pentti into the semi-finals of the European Championships backstroke | Sports in a nutshell

Fanny Teijonsalo and Mia Pentti advanced to the semifinals of the women’s 50m backstroke at the European long course swimming in Belgrade.

Teijonsalo swam close to his record in the heats with a time of 28.35 and was the fourth fastest swimmer of the heats. Pent’s time of 29.29 was enough instead of fifteen.

The semi-finals of the trip are swum in the evening. About Finnish swimmers Ida Hulkko jump into the EC pool in the evening for the women’s 100m breaststroke final.

Originally, the Finn was tenth in the semi-finals, but Hulkko made it to the final after the two athletes ahead of him gave up the final place.
