On Thursday night, the police began a car chase in southern Stockholm after a car deviated from a control. The police pulled the car off the road and three teenagers were found in the car, two under 18 and one under 15 and in the car the police found weapons. The control led to more house searches being carried out in the Stockholm area. Among other things, at an address in Farsta during the Monday evening.
– During the house search, an object suspected of being explosive was found, says prosecutor Lukas Tigerstrand.
The police’s bomb squad was called to the scene and two of the people who were arrested in the car on Thursday evening are now suspected of preparing for gross public-dangerous devastation. Otherwise, the police have arrested three other people who are suspected of serious weapons offenses linked to the case.
Arrest hearings will be held on Tuesday. The suspects are 17 and 18 years old respectively.
