Teenagers are sentenced for filmed assault

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

After a 17-year-old boy kissed one of the girls, she hit him with her bag and her fists while a friend filmed the incident.

The now six convicted youths then planned, at school and via social media, to abuse the 17-year-old again. Two days later they tricked him into meeting them.

The 17-year-old was then kicked and beaten in the face and body. He suffered dizziness, back pain and nosebleeds from the beating. This event was also filmed.

The boy was then threatened and did not dare to report the assault to the police. The incident was instead reported in connection with the videos being sent to social services.

The teenagers are sentenced to between 30 and 80 hours of youth service and must pay a total of SEK 30,000 in damages to the 17-year-old. They must also pay SEK 800 each to the crime victim fund.
