An 18-year-old man is sentenced to four years in prison for aggravated rape, aggravated assault, robbery and assault in a court case committed against a young woman in Motala earlier this year, reports SVT Nyheter Öst.
In addition to the prison sentence, he must pay SEK 333,000 in damages to the affected woman.
A 14-year-old boy is also judged to be guilty of the crimes, but due to his young age he cannot be punished. However, the boy must pay SEK 275,000 of the damages to the victim in solidarity with the 18-year-old.
The events unfolded on the night between July 15 and 16 this year. The young woman was burned with cigarettes and cut with knives. The teenagers then assaulted her while filming.
They also robbed her of money and belongings. She was then threatened not to tell anything about the events.
