The teenager was walking with a friend and her dog in Échirolles when a shooting broke out. She was shot in the thigh. An investigation is open.
A shooting left two people shot in the thigh in Échirolles (Isère), in the Grenoble metropolitan area. A sixteen-year-old girl was walking with a friend and her dog on the night of Saturday January 4 to Sunday January 5 when she was caught in a shooting of which she was the collateral victim, according to the Grenoble public prosecutor, Éric Vaillant , reports BFMTV.
Unknown to the justice system, she threw herself to the ground with her friend while “more than ten shots” were carried out. The shooting took place not far from a deal point. According to the prosecutor, “around fifteen cases of two different types of ammunition” and around ten vehicles were damaged.
A twenty-year-old man was also injured
The same shooting left another injured. This is a twenty-year-old man, known to the courts, who went to a clinic with a gunshot wound to his right thigh. He was described as “not very talkative” by the prosecutor. The man was reportedly shot at by people on a scooter. An investigation into attempted murder has been opened.
Another twenty-nine-year-old man was shot in the right hand the same evening, although it is not yet known whether he was caught in the same shooting as the two others injured. “The uncooperative victim indicates that a hooded individual riding a scooter used a firearm in his direction,” specifies Éric Vaillant. An investigation into intentional violence with a weapon has been opened in this case.
