According to the prosecutor, the preliminary investigation is still ongoing.
It was during a fight at a school that a boy was badly stabbed. He had emergency surgery after the incident as the injuries were deemed to be serious.
The suspected boy could be arrested shortly after the crime that occurred on December 12 – but he has now been released from custody.
According to Sala municipality’s head of school Anna Wiklund, the boys will go to different schools, which SVT Västmanland previously reported.
