A 17-year-old boy who is suspected of grossly protecting a criminal after the murder in Skärholmen appeared before the custody judge on Tuesday.

– He denies the crime, says his lawyer Diyar Beddiro.

The teenage boy, who was arrested and detained on Saturday evening, enters the courtroom in Södertörn district court wearing green pants from the Probation Service and a light, baggy t-shirt.

He is suspected on probable grounds of aggravated protection of a criminal at an address in Skärholmen from 6:15 p.m. last Wednesday, which is the same time the police were alerted to the shooting, to 7:35 p.m. last Friday.

Another teenager, an 18-year-old man, is suspected of the same crime. A detention hearing for him will take place later in the day.

It was last Wednesday that a 39-year-old man was shot dead in front of his son when they were on their way to a bathhouse. It is said to have happened in connection with the father confronting young people at an underpass in Skärholmen in southern Stockholm.

During the weekend, the police had an increased presence in the area in order to create security. Among other things, the cavalry was there to talk to people.
