Teenager admitted shooting to staff at HVB home

In connection with a trial in another case, information emerged that the 16-year-old boy had already admitted to a shooting. He must have done that in the middle of March, after returning to an HVB home in Ångermanland, something that P4 Västernorrland was the first to report on.

The staff who heard about the shooting contacted the police, who did not arrive. Within a day, the 16-year-old boy deviated again and participated in a new act of violence in the Stockholm area.

The boy is now suspected of attempted murder or extremely serious assault, kidnapping and serious weapons offences.

The police are investigating the accident

According to the staff at the HVB home in Ångermanland, the police were contacted immediately after the boy told them about the shooting he allegedly took part in. Almost a day passed without the police coming, and then the boy left again.

According to the police, no call should be recorded. Local police area chief Dick Danielsson says he is trying to find out what happened and that a police report should be made to further investigate the incident.

– If the staff (at the HVB home) have contacted the police and the police have not come, it is not good at all. It is a really gross misconduct, says Dick Danielsson to P4 Västernorrland.
