Teen nabbed for stunt driving

A 17-year-old Brantford motorist has been charged with stunt driving after Brant OPP said a vehicle was clocked at 120 km-h on Pleasant Ridge Road at about 9:30 pm on Nov. 12.

The speed limit on the road is 60 km/h.

The teen is charged with stunt driving and speeding more than 50 km-h over the imit.

In addition, the vehicle was impounded for 14 days and the driver’s license was suspended for 30 days.

Motorist caught speeding on 403

A 25-year-old Brampton, Ont., driver is facing charges after Brant OPP clocked a vehicle at more than 150 km/h on Highway 403 just after midnight on Nov, 14.

The motorist is charged with stunt driving, speeding more than 50 km-h over the limit. driving while under suspension and failing to surrender a permit for the vehicle.

The vehicle was impounded for 14 days and the driver’s license was suspended for 30 days.

Crash leads to charges

A single-vehicle collision at about 8:30 pm on Nov. 12 has resulted in impaired driving charges for a 29-year-old Stoney Creek, Ont., man.

Police say a driver left the roadway and collided with a guard rail on King Edward Street in Paris..

The man is charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs and having a blood-alcohol concentration above the legal limit.
