One teen was killed and three others were injured in a rollover crash near Blenheim on Thursday night.

Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle crash on Allison Line between Charing Cross and Erieau roads at 9:46 pm, police said Friday.

Preliminary findings indicate the vehicle, carrying four teenage girls, was heading northeast on Allison Line when it went out of control, rolled several times and came to rest on its roof, police said.
A 17-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A 16-year-old and two other 17-year-olds were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
“The investigation is ongoing, and the name of the deceased will not be released at this time out of respect for the family’s privacy,” police said.
