The unknown on the technical side for the Hyundai Ioniq 6, one of the most characteristic cars of the last period, has come to an end today.
Hyundai Ioniq 6, which we met officially in the last days of June, managed to make a sound just like Ioniq 5. The model, which brings an approach that we have not seen in today’s world, especially with its design lines, has the potential to bring a new user base to Hyundai in the electricity competition. For the Ioniq 6, where we could talk more about the design and hardware features when it was first introduced, the technical uncertainty has ended. Official sources, who shared the vehicle’s numerical data hours ago, have also removed the question marks for buyers.
Hyundai Ioniq 6 comes with a range of more than 600 kilometers
When we look at the Ioniq 6 product range on a numerical basis, we see that it is divided into two basic lines. The combination of an entry-level battery with a capacity of 53 kWh and a single electric motor positioned on the rear axle awaits users. In these dynamics, the version that will have 218 PS power will have range values in the range of 480-500 kilometers. It is also worth noting that the package, which is expected to achieve a consumption of 14 kWh per 100 kilometers, will be one of the most efficient electrics in the market. At the top of the family, a much higher capacity battery of 77.4 kWh and a dual electric motor combination comes into play. Supporting the high capacity of the battery with a friction coefficient of 0.21 cd, a range of 610 kilometers seems possible in the car.

The Ioniq 6 is as good as premium models with its fast charging support as well as its range. The battery, which supports up to 800V, can be brought from 10 percent to 80 percent in 18 minutes over a 350 kW source. On the performance side, it is noteworthy that the car will be able to reach 0 to 100 in 5.1 seconds, with 325 PS power and 605 Nm torque. The car, which has futuristic lines, will reach end users with a length of 4,855 millimeters, a width of 1,880 millimeters, a height of 1,495 millimeters and a wheelbase of 2,950 millimeters. It is also possible to put the Elantra’s 4,650 millimeters length, 1,825 millimeters width and 1,430 millimeters height values side by side in order to better visualize the model in minds. The first owners of the Ioniq 6, whose production process will start in the third quarter of this year, will be found before the end of 2022.
