Systembolaget experienced technical problems during Friday afternoon. For just over two hours, it was not possible to pay by card in about 50 stores around the country.
– There are problems with card payments, but it is fine to pay with cash, said Sofia Sjöman Waas, press officer at Systembolaget, at the time.
At 2:30 p.m., the payment system was up and running again.
– It’s resolved, which is great. Everything is up and running just as usual, says Katinka Wall, press manager.
What the problem was caused is still unclear, but troubleshooting has been done.
