Linus Tech Tips is one of the most famous tech channels on YouTube. But the channel could have looked very different if Linus Sebastian had accepted a deal. In an interview, he explains that he has not regretted the decision to this day.
Linus Sebastian is the boss of the Linus Media Group, which also includes his well-known tech channel “Linus Tech Tips”. Speaking on the last episode of The Wan Show, he revealed that he’d been made an unbeatable offer for his then fledgling channel.

He won’t be that accurate. He does not name a specific purchase price, nor does he name the possible buyer. But he explains that he has no regrets for turning down the offer:
No no. I don’t really regret it, I was afraid I would do it. I was worried Did I ever say what the offer was? Well, it wasn’t six figures, and it wasn’t seven figures. It certainly wasn’t five or less…it wasn’t eight either.
However, the offer is said to have been proposed to him before the Linus Media Group became the size it is today. Now the Linus Media Group and the associated YouTube channels should be worth significantly more.
