A packed concert venue ended the Fosen demonstration that lasted over a week in Oslo. Demonstrators have protested for eight days against the fact that Norway’s largest wind farm is still standing, despite the fact that it violates indigenous rights.
“The Fosen Sami were celebrated”
The concert was a tribute to the reindeer-herding Sami from Fosen, the demonstrators and to Sami fighting spirit. The artists Katarina Barruk and Timimie Märak participated from Swedish Sápmi.
