In League of Legends, a serious bug is up to mischief: players can be resurrected immediately after their death. The nasty bug has now completely ruined a professional game in the Japanese LoL league LJL on August 5th. One of the losers of the match speaks of the “worst game of their career”.
This went wrong in LoL: The Japanese team “Detonation Focus Me” practically decided the game after 15 minutes in a league match on August 5:
Rune issue causes dead to come back to life instantly
What happened then? Due to a bug, the opponent’s jungle, Jang “Once” Se-young, could respawn immediately after dying with his champ Poppy.
In the video on Twitch you can see that Poppy dies, but no respawn timer is displayed, but she jumps around the base again:
So this was a clear bug in the game. He ensured that those responsible ordered a match interruption, a “chrono break”.
What is a chrono break? If a bug occurs in LoL that affects a game, a chrono break can be activated. This interrupts the game and both teams can resume the match at exactly the same point. At least that’s the theory.
It would be hard to imagine if such a bug had happened to the raging Tyler1:
The game has to be repeated – and the team that has already been beaten wins
what went wrong However, the chrono break did not work due to technical problems. Instead, the game, which Detontation Focus Me almost won, was abandoned and replayed.
Two hours passed before the new LoL game started.
Detonation Focus Me lost the rematch in 40 minutes.

“Worst game of a career for players and spectators
Here’s how the losers react: Detontation Focus Me midlaner Yaharong said on Twitter that even though it was just one of many games, he thought, “What if that happens in Game 5 of the Worlds Finals?”
He wants to ask Riot Games: Can LoL esports survive this way? The team wasn’t even told if they were even allowed to play Poppy – they just said if the problem recurred, they’d discuss it again.
According to the mid laner, the LoL match was the worst match of their lives for both the home crowd and the local players.
The mid-laner criticized the league’s handling of the bug: If something like that happens, you can no longer talk about esports.
What is this bug? The bug is related to the Hexflash rune. It’s apparently a game-breaking bug. Hexflash was therefore banned in the European and North American LoL leagues.
Currently, in the summer of 2022, League of Legends is apparently plagued by some bugs and problems that are taking on serious proportions.
