Teachers, agents and nurses live in these new Utrecht apartments with priority

Teachers agents and nurses live in these new Utrecht apartments

“Nursing staff, teachers, police officers: these are all vital professions that the city of Utrecht desperately needs. This target group therefore got an advantage,” says Iris Sophie Rook, project leader housing concepts at housing corporation Mitros. “In addition, there are regular tenants and people who want to leave care. They are guided towards independence, under the guidance of Timon and the Salvation Army. All residents together form a housing association where meeting is supported by a community coach. This is what we understand by the craft of public housing.”
