One of the big technology companies in Turkey TCLdeveloped at CES 2024 NXTPAPER 3.0 technology introduced.
TCL explained this technology in detail as follows: “Optimized for the human eye, this third-generation technology includes a diverse suite of improvements and impressive features designed to improve visual health. Since the introduction in 2021, TCL has continuously developed the unique TCL NXTPAPER technology, bridging the gap between smart devices and e-readers, and began using it in its smartphones in 2023. The TCL 40 NXTPAPER smartphone, which was first launched by TCL in Europe and is still on sale, also received the CES 2024 Innovation Award for Mobile Devices. As this award demonstrates, TCL is now pushing the boundaries of innovation with even more advanced technology and continues to take steps to humanize technology. Based on successful eye-care TCL NXTPAPER technology, which filters up to 61 percent of harmful blue light while preserving sharp images, vivid colors, deep contrast and natural motion, TCL NXTPAPER 3.0 continues to deliver these important benefits while adding a host of features optimized for vision and touch. offers.

The introduction of the CPL (Circular Polarized Light) display, which simulates the “emission-reflection-refraction” path of natural light, was the main innovation in this technology. This innovation produces a visual effect that better reflects the experience of reading books in natural light, improving the paper-like appearance of the screen and providing additional eye comfort. Supporting this innovation, TCL NXTPAPER 3.0 also features higher refresh rates and DC dimming technology to provide a flicker-free viewing experience in all scenarios. Additionally, the newly developed Adaptive Color Temperature feature powered by the RGB sensor allows the TCL NXTPAPER display to automatically adjust and provide the optimal color temperature according to time and ambient light. This means a comfortable viewing experience anytime and anywhere.”
TCL NXTPAPER technology software also includes a built-in eye care assistant that provides reminders and helps users develop healthier digital viewing habits. The rest reminder helps users adopt the “20-20-20” rule by encouraging breaks during extended use. That is, taking a 20-second break every 20 minutes and focusing on an object 20 feet (~6 meters) away, a practice frequently recommended by eye care professionals. This feature can also detect poor lighting or if the user is too close and provide reminders. Users can easily disable these features with a single click for an immersive experience.”
TCL Communication CMO Stefan Streit said in a statement: “At TCL, we believe that advancing technology is not just about adding more features, but also about making that technology more accessible. NXTPAPER’s success is a testament to our mission to humanize technology by focusing on developing products optimized for the human eye. NXTPAPER 3.0 builds on the success of previous devices. “In 2024, we will bring the NXTPAPER series to more TCL product categories and screen sizes, offering users more options.” said.
