Two years later Evermore, Taylor Swift is back in stores. During the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony, on stage, the singer announced the release, in the fall, of a tenth and new album: Midnights will be released on October 21. “Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be released on October 21. See you at midnight,” she later wrote on social media.
And to detail, in another publication: “It’s a set of music written in the middle of the night, a journey between nightmares and dreams. The floors we walk on and the demons we face. For all of us who hesitated and decided to keep the lanterns lit and keep looking – hoping that maybe, when the clock strikes twelve, we will meet again”, writes the singer.
The Scrapbook Midnights, whose cover has also been unveiled on social networks, will have 13 tracks, separated into two sides of the disc. To find out more, make an appointment in the fall! The announcement of this tenth album is also a double event for Taylor Swift, who won the Video of the Year trophy at the MTV Video Music Awards for the music video for All too well (Taylor’s Version).
