(Ticker) – “The tax reform, now expected for several years, to give a jolt to the now lost competitiveness of Italian small and medium-sized enterprisesboth in the national and international context, should go through the substantial rearrangement of the structure of direct and indirect taxes to modify the so-called tax wedge and drastically reduce the tax burden on SMEs.”
This was declared by the national councilor of Unimpresa, Manlio La Duke, underlining that the association has sent a document to the government containing a series of proposals in the context of the definition of the implementing decrees of the reform launched yesterday by the council of ministers.
“After all, the weight of taxes, equal to more than 50% of GDP, does not make our businesses competitive, while bureaucracy slows down and weighs down all production processes”.
