It was during the night of last Sunday that a male taxi driver was booked to an address on Frösön. There he picked up a 25-year-old man and drove him to another address on Frösön. When they arrived, the customer got out of the car without paying, whereupon the driver got out and asked for payment. The customer then allegedly punched the driver several times in the face and when he fell to the ground he was also kicked. Some kicks hit the head, according to the report made to the Work Environment Agency.
The police arrested the customer
The driver managed to get up and call 112, and the police were quickly on the scene and arrested the customer, who is now suspected of serious assault.
The taxi driver had to be taken to hospital in pain, but according to the report nothing was broken.
