An officer at the Tax Agency in Falun exchanged information for gifts. In total, the caseworker made 240 unauthorized beatings on, among other things, himself, relatives and people he had been a good man for, writes Dala-Demokraten.

The case officer, who had been employed for 15 years at the Tax Agency, is now dismissed and reported to the police for misconduct.

The crime was discovered after an anonymous tip in which someone claimed that the caseworker made illegal beatings on various people, and the authority’s IT department then checked the caseworker’s history between 2020 and 2023.

The beatings were done both during working hours, on weekends and when the person was on sick leave, and the information was then texted to different people.
