Tarantino star Christoph Waltz becomes horror Stromberg and goes crazy in the trailer for Amazon’s thriller series

Christoph Waltz is an acclaimed actor who has won Oscars for two roles in Quentin Tarantino films. In Inglourious Basterds, for example, for one of the most iconic villains of the last 20 years. In the evil Amazon series The Consultant he disturbs viewers and employees now as a horror Stromberg. Even the first teaser shows him in top form.

Tarantino villain Christoph Waltz becomes horror boss at Amazon

Because here, too, the exceptional actor can have his own ancestral blend of quirkiness, etiquette and stone-cold brutality present. As a consultant to Regus Patoff, he is supposed to bring the ailing company Comptech back into shape after a failed takeover. And apparently does so with extreme severity. Thanks to his pedantry and his demeanor as a high-school civil servant, he is somewhat reminiscent of Christoph Maria Herbst’s boss character.

In addition to Waltz, The Consultant also stars Nat Wolff (Destiny is a Wicked Betrayer) and Brittany O’Grady (The White Lotus), among others. The series was designed by Servant creator Tony Basgallop.

When is The Consultant coming to Amazon?

The Consultant will from the February 24, 2023 released on Amazon Prime Video. The first season will consist of eight episodes, which have already been given various titles on IMDb.
