The new contracts were announced at the Golden Jubilee.
The goalkeeper who saved Tappara as Finnish champion and CHL champion Christian Heljanko26, has signed an extension contract with Tappara.
– This has been a memorable season and an amazing spring. I can happily and proudly announce that I get to represent Tappara next season as well, Heljanko said at the club’s golden celebration.
Tappara’s gold party is outside the Hakametsä hall on Saturday.
Heljango, who was awarded the best player of the CHL season in the winter, has a one-year contract.
The extension contract with Tappara has also been signed by the player who is starting his third season with the club Joni Tuulola, 27. Tuulola, who gained the reputation of the master of ceremonies at last year’s championship celebration, has been in the rink in a more successful defensive role in the season that ended.
Joni Tuulola’s extension contract is also for one year.
