Former ambassador Willibrod Slaa, lawyer Boniface Mwabukusi and an activist from Chadema, the main opposition party, Mdude Nyagali, were arrested between August 12 and 13 on charges including “sedition” after criticizing an agreement with the Emirates paving the way for the concession of the port of Dar es Salaam. Their arrest had been denounced by NGOs. Now released, they are not done with justice.
