The accident occurred at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, and rescuers only arrived on the scene on Friday. According to the emergency services, no gas has leaked out. Part of the tank has been emptied into another vehicle.
– There is a hope that it will be resolved during the evening or night, says Ulf Seglert, officer on duty at the Västra Skaraborg rescue service.
Are there any risks with this?
– The risk is, of course, that something could happen to the tank, that it could burst and leak gas. But we have the necessary resources in place should something happen. We assume it won’t, but we have preparedness in case something happens.
