Simon Stransky is moving abroad.
Ilves, who play in the ice hockey SM league report having unloaded the Czech striker Simon Stransky player contract. According to Ilves, the contract of the player moving abroad was terminated by mutual agreement. The club will receive monetary compensation for breaking the contract.
– At the player’s initiative, we have been discussing the possibility of a club transfer for some time, and now together we found a solution that is suitable for both parties, both athletically and financially, Ilves’ sports director Timo Koskela says.
Stransky has also skated in Finland in Jukurei in the 2020–2021 and 2021–2022 seasons. Last season in Ilves, he scored 12+22=34 in 56 regular season matches.
