The restaurant, known for its Mediterranean fusion cuisine, has opened a new location at 849 St. Clair St., marking an exciting new chapter for Tahini’s, a company release said.
“We are excited to introduce Tahini’s to Chatham,” said Omar Hamam, the chain’s founder and chief executive. “This new location represents our commitment to delivering innovative and delicious culinary experiences.”
Chatham-Kent has seen significant growth in restaurants in the last year with more than 20 openings across the community.
The Chatham restaurant features an inviting and comfortable atmosphere with a varied menu highlighting the fusion of Mediterranean flavors using the freshest ingredients, the company said.

The Chatham opening not only signifies the brand’s growth, but also celebrates the rich tapestry of Mediterranean cuisine with a diverse and authentic culinary experience, Tahini’s said.
“We invite everyone to come on by and enjoy our unique flavors paired with the fast, friendly, and top-notch service that Tahini’s is known for,” Hamam said.
Tahini’s, which already has 49 franchise locations, is expanding its reach across Canada with plans to expand globally, said the company, which expects to have 60 corporate and franchise outlets by year’s end.
Tahini’s goal is not only to provide patrons with exceptional food and service, but also to inspire a new standard of restaurant industry excellence, the company said.
Tahini’s, founded in 2012, also offers retail packaged products through select grocers.
