Truls Möregårdh started briskly in the first set – but never really had much of a chance in the meeting with 19th-ranked Alexis Lebrun.
– It’s an overrun, says SVT expert JO Waldner.
– It’s the sickest thing I’ve seen, he puts everything. The absolute best I’ve seen at the EC so far.
The Frenchman crushed tenth-ranked Möregårdh and made a big impression. He played comfortably through the match and won 4–0.
The Swede thus has to settle for a bronze.
Lebrun faces the German Benedikt Duda, 28th in the world ranking, in the final.
