It was an even start in the Swedish meeting in the table tennis EC. In the end, Anton Källberg was able to take command in the round of 16 by taking home the first two sets (14–12, 11–7).
Kristian Karlsson certainly found his way into the match by winning the third set (11–8), but Källberg extended his lead again when he took home an even fourth set (12–10).
When Källberg then had match point in the fifth set, Karlsson sent the ball into the net, which meant that the former took home the victory.
