Systembolaget stopped digital ID – so it goes in stores

So far, it is still not possible to identify with digital ID cards at Systembolaget. But according to Teodor Almqvistpress officer at Systembolaget, it has worked well.

-The pause of digital ID cards from BankID has, for the most part, worked smoothly at the stores. Our experience is that most customers have an understanding of how we have reasoned and think we made a correct decision, he tells News24, and continues:

Digital Identification will come back – unclear when

When the ability to identify digitally paused said the sales manager said Mattias Särmalm in one Press release that the opportunity would resume “as soon as we have the opportunity to do control in a sufficiently safe way”.

Systembolaget is not yet there.

-Our goal is to be able to offer the opportunity for our customers as soon as possible to be able to safely legitimize themselves with digital ID cards in our stores. We are working to create the conditions for this and will inform when we have a solution in place, says Almqvist to News24.
