Nightdive Studios made a statement for the System Shock console release date. The remake launches for PlayStation 4|5 and Xbox One and Series X|S at the end of May.

System Shock console release date It was set for the end of May. Nightdive Studios’ surprisingly faithful recreation of the classic shooter/immersive simulation hit PC in 2023 to critical acclaim. Soon, console players will face off against the malevolent original rogue AI, SHODAN, as they explore the dark depths of Citadel Station on PlayStation 4|5 and Xbox One and Series X|S, and single-handedly attempt to save Earth from destruction.

System Shock Console Release Date and Innovations

The remake of System Shock combines the original game’s gameplay with all-new HD visuals, updated controls, an overhauled interface, and all-new sounds and music. The console version features numerous improvements, as well as a revised ending and optional female hacker protagonist.

System Shock launches on May 21, 2024, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in both physical and digital formats. The game will be released in digital format only on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
