The city is ruined, but the returnees are still happy to enter their home region.

The AFP news agency has followed how dozens of families have been able to get to their home region for the first time in the city of Homs for the first time.
Homes is called the capital of the Syrian uprising, as there was a real burst of President Hafez al-Assad in 2011.
The houses of many returnees are in ruins, but residents still have tears of happiness in their eyes as they can build their future.
– There has been a fire here, there are no windows, and no electricity. But we will clear the destruction and install the carpet on the floor, said the mother of four children Duaa Turkey.
– We are happy to be happy when we got here. This is our homeland and our country.
