Syria Aeroporti di Roma welcomes little Mustafa

Mustafa al-Nazzal, the five-year-old child born limbless as a result of an aerial bombardment with chemical weapons in Syria, e his father Munzir, whose right leg was amputated, protagonists of the shot “Hardship of Life” who went around the world becoming a symbolic image of the Syrian drama, have been in Italy since this evening. With them also the baby’s mother, Zeynep, and the two little sisters.

Waiting for them, escorted by the police from the moment of disembarkation and welcomed by Rome Airports (ADR), Sipa delegates together with many television crews. Mustafà arrived on his father’s lap, seated in a wheelchair pushed by an Adr Assistance employee. The little boy and his family then reached the Terminal 3 exit of the airport.

During the short transit, Mustafà continued to greet, smile and send kisses.
