“Me and my partner had a great time in Växjö and had two fantastic years there, so the choice came quite naturally. The goal is obviously to win gold again. It will be fun to come back. I hope to contribute with a great atmosphere in the team and with a lot of energy on the ice,” says Sylvegård in a press release.
He will be the first piece of the puzzle to be presented in sporting director Henrik Evertsson’s team building for the coming season.
“‘Mackan’ has really missed us since he was last here. But he’s developed into a top player in the league in the meantime, so there’s a lot of reasons why we’re delighted to have him back. ‘Mackan’ is a great guy to have in a team, as he stands for the same things that Växjö Lakers do as a club. The team and the win are most important.” says Evertsson.
The contract is written until the end of the 2025 season.
