Sweet Tooth fans had to have a lot of patience. Almost two years have passed since the first season of the fantasy hit. Now Netflix has finally released the first trailer for season 2. The great conflict of the Robert Downey Jr.-produced series comes to a head.

In Season 2 of the hit fantasy game Sweet Tooth, the heroes finally strike back

Sweet Tooth is set in a post-apocalyptic world where most of humanity has been wiped out by a virus. At the same time, however, a new creature has appeared with the so-called hybrids. Hermaphrodites like Gus (Christian Convery), who has antlers growing out of his head, they are hunted by the surviving humans.

At the start of Season 2, Gus finds himself in captivity as a guinea pig to help find a cure for the virus. As the trailer shows, the young hero has finally had enough and strikes back at his human tormentors. The grim battle for power on Earth may be imminent.

Whether it comes to that, fans of the fantasy series will soon find out. Season 2 of Sweet Tooth will be released on April 27, 2023 published. Netflix has already confirmed a third season.
