Swedish WC bronze: "Will celebrate with cake and ice cream"

Gustav Bergman switched over as third to Emil Svensk on the anchor stretch. After that, Sweden held third place and secured a Swedish bronze – 57 seconds behind victorious Switzerland.

The Swedish bronze team consisted of Albin Ridefelt, Gustav Bergman and Emil Svensk.

— It feels great. We all ran well. After all, we went here to the WC and were going to fight for, perhaps primarily individual, medals. So it’s great fun that we can get a medal on the last day, says Svensk.

The WC in forest orienteering is decided in Switzerland.

— It is a class arrangement and the orienteering terrain is great. These are worthy competitions for a WC, says Emil Svensk.

Finland finished second.

The women’s relay will be decided later on Sunday. Then Sweden will line up with the following team; Hanna Lundberg, Sara Hagström and Tove Alexandersson on the women’s side.

— It will be great fun to follow a competition before we go home tomorrow, says Svensk.
