Victor Nilsson Lindelöf could be on his way away from Manchester United.
According to Italian information, the Swede is highly sought after by a top club in Italy.
The Swedish defender has missed Manchester United’s opening two league matches in the Premier League. The reason is an injury and Lindelöf has not even been in the match squad.
Could end up in Serie A
Now the 28-year-old may be on his way away from England and the Manchester club. Information in Italy means that a top Italian club has opened its eyes to the Swede and is following the situation closely.
It is the Corriere dello Sport that writes that Victor Nilsson Lindelöf is current for the capital club Roma who want to loan the Swede. Roma is coached by José Mourinho, the same manager who once recruited the Swede to Manchester United.
Valued at 15 million euros
The newspaper further writes that Roma are desperately looking for a new centre-back and that Manchester United can consider either loaning or selling the Swede, who is valued at 15 million euros.
Since arriving at Manchester United, Victor Nilsson Lindelöf has played 139 games and is credited with three goals. The contract runs until the summer of 2024.
