A tragedy shakes TV4’s big investment “The Mountain”.
In the middle of the recording, one of the participants died.

A man in his 50s has died during the filming of the TV4 program “Berget” in Kjøpsvik outside Narvik in Norway.

“The focus is only to support”
A crisis team has been appointed in Narvik due to the death. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was started on the spot, but the man was later pronounced dead by doctors. Relatives have been notified.
– Our focus now is solely to take care of participants, employees and relatives. Eventually we will go through thoroughly what happened, but right now all other issues are secondary. Our focus is solely to support.
The program is led by rapper Petter Alexis and 15 Swedes will compete against each other to be the first to climb Stetind in the municipality of Narvik.
It is currently unclear how the incident will affect continued production.
