Swedish Olympic medal hero Henrik Harlaut returns to the national team again after 18 months

Henrik Harlaut took a break from the national team and the World Cup after the Olympic bronze in 2022. But now, 18 months later, the freestyle star is back. The 32-year-old is back in the national team ahead of the 2024–25 season, the Swedish Skiing Association announces.

Henrik Harlaut is not only back in the national team for the World Cup next season, but he also announces via the association that he is aiming for the Olympics in Milan/Cortina 2026.

The Swede has several heavy merits during his career. Above all, the successes have come during the prestigious X-games. In total, there have been eight golds and four silvers in various disciplines.

He has been most successful in the big air discipline, where six of the eight golds have been recovered. It was also in big air that the Swede won Olympic bronze in 2022.

The association also announces that Oscar Wester takes over as the new confederation captain for the freeskiing national team.
