Sweden is increasing its support for Ukraine, the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Finance announced at a press conference.
– The resistance Ukraine gives deserves our support both in word and deed, says Peter Hultqvist (S).
Sweden will now send the naval target robot Robot 17, another 5,000 armored shots, automatic rifle 90 and provide more financial support. This is in line with what Ukraine has demanded, according to Hultqvist. The support package amounts to SEK 1 billion. Recently, Germany and the United States have also announced that they are sending more weapons to Ukraine.
