There is a bomb alarm in the center of Stockholm.
A Swedish afternoon newspaper Expressen’s according to a suspicious object has been found in the center of Stockholm. According to the Swedish police, the object was found during a personal check, reports the Swedish evening newspaper Aftonbladet.
SVTon-site reporter of Oskar Jonsson says that the entire northern hall of the Stockholm railway station is closed due to a dangerous object. Expressen reports that part of Stockholm’s main train station has been emptied.
– The police asked to stop train traffic just before six o’clock. The service was interrupted for ten minutes, after which the trains have run again, says the press officer of the Swedish state railway company SJ Ronny Hörstrand for SVT.
According to Expressen, several people have been arrested in the operation.
According to SVT, the railway station was closed at around 19:00 on Wednesday. The Swedish police have started a preliminary investigation into the violation of the law on flammable and explosive substances.
