A Swedish man has been shot in the Norwegian town of Moss.

The extent of the damage is unclear but should be serious, according to police prosecutor Kristian Finnanger to Norwegian VG.

The police are currently hunting two perpetrators linked to a criminal network.

A man in his 30s has been shot in Moss in south-eastern Norway. The man is a Swedish citizen, Norwegian police confirm.

– There must have been an estimated seven to eight shots fired, says on-call lawyer in East police district Harald Holmsen to NRK.

The incident must have occurred shortly before 5 p.m. at the Mossehallen sports hall in Moss, approximately nine miles from the Swedish border.

“Trying to monitor the border”

The police are looking for at least two perpetrators who allegedly left in a dark car. According to VG, they may be armed.
