Jesper Bratt continues to dominate.
Last night he extended his own super streak – and is now widely celebrated.
The Swede is also third in the entire NHL’s scoring.
Talk about the hockey life playing for Swedish Jesper Bratt. He has been one of the New Jersey Devils’ best players in recent seasons, but this year he seems to have taken another step, just like the entire team. The Devils are often considered one of the contenders to win the Stanley Cup this season, and the start of the season has been exciting to say the least.
Tokuhlás after the new success
And not least for Jesper Bratt, who completely dominated during the beginning of the season. The Devils have now won four of their last five games, after another victory against the Minnesota Wild on Sunday night, and a lot of that is thanks to Jesper Bratt. The Swede accounted for two more goals and an assist in the night’s win against Minnesota, and with that he extended an incredibly powerful streak.
Bratt has scored points in seven (!) straight games in the NHL, and during the season has now been noted for six goals and eight assists. After Sunday’s victory, Bratt was highly praised by her coach Lindy Ruff.
– I see a guy with even more energy, says Ruff about Bratt.
– He shoots the puck faster and he plays better. Only his mobility seems a bit more dynamic. He is a luxury to have around.
Third best in the league
Jesper Bratt himself scored the first goal of the match in the match against Minnesota, which was eventually won 4-3. With his three points, Bratt thus became a great hero.
We’ve talked about really turning it in and trying to score the first goal. We had five shots on goal in the first five minutes, says Bratt.
Jesper Bratt accounted for 73 points for his Devils last season, a record for him that, by all accounts, based on the start of the season now, will be beaten this season as well. Jesper Bratt’s 14 points in eight games played places him third in the entire NHL in scoring, only beaten by Detroit’s Dylan Larkin and teammate Jack Hughes, who has 18 points in eight games. Fourth in the points league is Elias Pettersson, who has 13 points in eight games.
