It will be Linn Grant and Maja Stark who get to play for Sweden in women’s golf at the Olympics in Paris this summer.
Madelene Sagström had some chance of giving them a fight for one of the two tickets to Paris but her results in this weekend’s US PGA event were not enough to climb past either of them in the world rankings, the rankings that decide who gets to go.

Lynn Grant became best Swedish, tied for ninth, at the Sahalee Country Club in Washington on the American Pacific coast in the third major competition of the year. The Korean woman Amy Yang won on a total of 281 strokes, seven under par. Grant needed 287 strokes, one under par, for the four rounds.
Sagström finished in a tie for 22nd place with 291 strokes and Maja Stark was third best of the Swedes, on 299 strokes.
