On Sunday, Britain warned its citizens about the risk of a terrorist attack in Sweden. According to the Swedish authorities, there has not been a single change for the worse.
In Sweden, the entire opposition demands the chairman of the Parliament’s legal committee by Richard Jomshof break up.
The reason is the messages of Sweden Democrats Jomshof on social media. According to the opposition parties, they endanger Sweden’s security.
Jomshof has written on the messaging service X, i.e. the former Twitter, among other things, that the prophet of Islam Muhammad is a mass murderer.
In addition, he has forwarded a message that says the current prime minister of Sweden Ulf KristerssonMinister of Foreign Affairs Tobias Billström and a former prime minister Carl Bildt into pseudo-intellectual cowards.
Prime Minister Kristersson has called on all Swedes, including Jomshof, to consider what he said.
Already in the past, the social democrats have considered Jomshof unfit to lead the Diet’s central committee. Now the left party, the greens and the center party also agree.
Jomshof is not going to back down
Jomshof has answered information office to TT in writing to the question of the resignation claim.
According to Jomshof, the current situation in Sweden is a result of the politics of the current opposition parties during the previous government period.
Before last fall’s elections, there was a minority government of social democrats in power, which was supported by the greens, the left party and partly the center party.
In his response, Jomshof accuses the opposition parties of acting as a pawn for Islamist forces when they attack a critic like him. Instead, they should have tackled gang rapes, robberies and gang violence.

The opposition’s joint demand came just barely a day after Britain had warned its citizens about the increased terrorist threat in Sweden.

Security policy advisor to the Swedish government Henrik Landerholm is responded to Britain’s warnings.

According to Landerholm, several attempts to damage Swedish targets abroad have been successfully prevented.
