Car models such as the Volvo V70 and Saab 9-5 were big sellers on the Swedish market for a long time, and therefore also became a natural part of the traffic picture.

The most scrapped car model in Sweden in 2024 was the Volvo V70, which is not surprising as it is also the most common car model in the country and was built for several generations.
According to Carup’s calculations, almost one Volvo V70 was scrapped every hour in Sweden in 2024, when an average of 22 examples a day were scrapped.
A total of 8,271 copies of the Volvo V70 disappeared during the year.
