Sweden to the final with the third fastest time

– But there are three very kind and humble girls who are lucky. And I know that they know that I do my best, Hanna Rosvall continues.

With Michelle Coleman – who has been an important piece of the puzzle in the team caps for many years – missing in this year’s World Cup, it opened up new constellations when the medley team was to be formed.

The national team management’s choice was to give Hanna Rosvall the chance on the backstroke distance in Saturday morning’s attempt at the 4×100 meter medley.

Rosvall gave Sweden a clearly approved start when she switched over as four to breaststroke swimmer Sophie Hansson.

– It was noticed that it was a few days since you were in the water, but it was a perfectly okay race, says Hanna Rosvall who earlier this week set a new personal record in 100 meters backstroke when she swam in the semifinals at 1.00.76.

Sophie Hansson who swam the other stretch was not completely satisfied.

– Especially the other 50 were quite heavy, but I think it will come tonight, says Sophie Hansson who switched to big sister Louise.

Louise Hansson brought Sweden up from fourth place to second on her butterfly swim.

– We have a great team, and it is incredibly fun to swim teams. It’s not as nervous at all, says Louise Hansson.

On the last stretch, Sarah Sjöström swam and she made sure that Sweden finished second in her heat.

In total had Sweden the third best time. Australia was fastest before the Netherlands.

For tonight’s final, however, several of the teams will top their teams. The United States, which had the seventh best time, for example, saved several of its stars in the trials.

Sweden had the strongest team right from the start.

– It will be tight in the final. We will have fun and improve our times from the morning. Then we will see what is enough, says Louise Hansson.
