Sweden has progressed to the final of the Junior World Cup in ice hockey. This after defeating the USA in the semi-final with 2-1.
But it was the USA who took the lead in the match. After an invitation from Sweden, Lucia DiGirolamo was able to make it 1-0.
In game five against three, Sweden was able to find its way back into the match. Mira Jungåker finished nicely from outside, making it 1-1.
The decision came through Astrid Lindeberg. The victory means that Sweden has reached the JVM final for the second time. The final will be played tomorrow at 20:00.
